Dr. Marcela Muñoz-Rivera earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City. She also holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies and an Associate of Occupational Science in Massage Therapy.

She is licensed in Florida as an Acupuncture Physician, nationally certified by the NCCAOM, and holds New York State licenses in both acupuncture and massage therapy.

Her training and clinical experience integrate Eastern and Western perspectives — including Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, acupuncture injection therapy, functional medicine, Five Element acupuncture, channel theory, cosmetic acupuncture, Eastern herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle support.

Dr. Marcela previously operated a private practice in New York and worked in a high-volume community acupuncture clinic. She relocated to Florida with her family in 2015 and now serves patients across Port Saint Lucie and the Treasure Coast.

Her approach is personalized and whole-person focused — considering physical, mental, emotional, nutritional, and lifestyle factors while incorporating current healthcare research. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.
